No error code, no alert message, it just closes.
When I open the game, I can get to a neighborhood but as soon as I click on a household/lot and try and load, the game crashes. Back when they were still assisting with it, I talked to 5 different agents and they all gave up after an hour of troubleshooting and sent me an email with more troubleshooting. I downloaded the sims 2 ultimate collection from origin - this is no longer available as EA has discontinued distributing it even if you contact customer service.
